     A Honeymoon Adventure

     Dash couldn't believe this night was real, she was almost afraid of waking up and it all being a dream, in one day she became a wife and a Shadowbolt, that had to be some kind of record!
     Right now they were headed off on their honeymoon, but first they stopped at Dash's, 'No that's not right, it's our house now.' Dash corrected her thoughts as V carried her over the threshold. They stopped long enough to pack Dash's saddle bags grabbing a coat and a rainbow colored scarf, and some snacks for the fight. They grabbed Speedy on their way out the door and headed to Fluttershy's.
     Fluttershy wasn't home yet but V had a key to the door. Dash dropped off Speedy, Fluttershy had agreed to turtle sit for them, and V grabbed a coat and his guitar.
     V put the key on the table on the way out, he wouldn't need it anymore. "You ready sweetie?"
     "I was born ready!" Dash shouted as she dramatically opened the door and dashed outside, smacking face first into Big Macintosh and Fluttershy.
     "Walking Fluttershy home Mac?" Dash said jumping up acting like nothing had happened.
     "Eeyup." Mac said simply.
     Dash leaned an elbow on Fluttershy. "So when is the wedding going to be?"
Fluttershy, who may have had one to many glasses of wine, didn't blush or get embarrassed but instead smiled, grabbed Big Macintosh and planted a nice juicy kiss on his lips. "When ever he asks." Fluttershy exclaimed with a slight slur in her voice.
     "I didn't need to see that." V commented from behind Dash. "Lets get out of here Dash…please."
     Dash laughed at him but moved forward anyway. "Alight you two love birds, we're off." "Oh you had better take good care of Speedy!" Dash took to the air followed by V. Big Mac helped Fluttershy threw the door up the stairs and to the bed, where he tucked her in and kissed her forehead before heading home.

     "Hey!" Dash called back to the lagging V. "Lets grab some apples." She pointed down at Sweet Apple Acres. V sped up eouph so he didn't have to shout. "Won't your friend get mad if you steal her apples?" "Nah, I always repay her with weather favors so it's all good."  Dash slowed down and landed in one of the larger trees, V landed beside her but then slipped and would of fallen out of the tree had  Dash not caught his hoofs. Dash hauled him back up in the branch but she used to much force and cause them to fall backwards, V landing on top of his wife.
     "Ponies were meant to walk on clouds not trees." V said jokingly, but when he look down at Dash she didn't look amused, in fact she had quite a  different look on her face. They forgot all about the apples.

     "Whoa." Was all Dash could say as they finally laid eyes on Canterlot Slopes Sky Resort. Perched high up on Snaggletooth mountain, it was a marvel of unified Unicorn, Pegasus, and Earth Pony construction. Half carved into the mountain by Unicorn magic, with the outward facing wall made by the best Earth Pony woodworkers and the roof made of clouds causing a greenhouse effect, it was a sight to behold. It was placed half way up the mountain, beneath it at the base of the mountain was the small town of Plaque, and the peak of Snaggletooth poked the clouds. Despite the name the resort was located in the snowy north of Equestria.

     "About time!" V panted has he caught up to Dash. "Lets get to our rooms!"

     Dash held open the door for her worn out husband then they made their way to the front desk. "Here." V managed as he set the tickets, coupons really, on the counter. "We just flew in from Ponyville and boy are my wings tired."
V didn't notice the spa room as he passed it, or the indoor pool, or hot tubs he had eyes only for the bed once he got to his room and as soon as his head hit the pillow he was out. Dash shook her head at him before yawning herself, the flight had taken awhile and even she was a little worn out. She crawled in next to V and kissed him before drifting off her self.

     All too soon V was nudging her awake, "Wake up sweetie, we are signed up for a skiing class, you don't want to be late." He was wide awake and was already ready, Dash thought he might of been up for a wile now.
     Dash blinked and rubbed at her eyes. "How long have you been up?"
     "Oh just an hour or so, I slept in today."
     "Do you always get up this early?"
     "I've always been an early riser…I had to make sure Shy and Racer got ready for school every morning."
     "Is it too late to say I don't?" Dash groaned.

     They were running late by the time they got to the lobby where they were suppose to meet the group. Everyone was already there, standing in a half circle around a light pink tinted white pegasus.
     The pegasus nodded to the two as the joined the group. "Well it looks like we are all here, alright my name is Sky Bunny and Im going to show you the basics of skiing, Im going to make sure you all have a fun but safe time here on the slops." "First things first, introductions!" She said with a big smile as she nodded to the pony on her left.
     "Hi everypony, my name is Giggles, and this is my coltfriend Shades." a female tan pegasus with yellow highlighted brown hair and a cluster of hearts for a cutie mark said. Her friend was a brown pegasus colt with a black mane and sunglasses for a cutie mark, he had on sunglasses despite being inside. "Yo." was all he said.
     Next up was another pegasus, a light blue, with tan hair young mare with a cutie mark that Dash found odd, it was a blue lighting bolt striking a crescent moon, or at lest that was what she thought it was. "Hi, my name is Icy-Bolt." She introduced her self with a smile.
     "Names Sketch." said a brown pegasus shortly, he had orange hair and a pencil for a cutie mark.
     Dash and V introduced them selfs and everypony shook hooves.

     "I just know we are going to have a great day!" Ski Bunny said smiling.
